Committee / AVA Membership

Each year, AVA Members elect a committee, which administers the Association.

FULL MEMBERSHIP is open to individual professional artists (18 years or over) who are committed to producing, selling and / or exhibiting artwork, with particular interest in the Borough of Ashford.
Full Members are invited to participate in all group exhibitions, meetings and activities. They receive regular information and have full voting rights.
Full Membership is based on selection by committee members.
Fee: £20.00 (£10.00 if joining after 01 October 2007)

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is open to artists as well as any organisation or individual (18 years or over) with an interest in the visual arts and a desire to support the Association and its objectives. It is particularly for artists at the start of their careers, who feel they might benefit from mentoring and support from one of our Full Members. This provides inclusion in group meetings and activities, as well as regular information. It excludes voting rights.
Fee: £10.00

A FRIEND OF AVA is any person with an interest in the visual arts, and a desire to support the Association and its objectives. You and your family will be invited to all exhibitions and events, and receive the AVA Newsletter.
Fee: £10.00

If you wish to join AVA as a FULL Member, please fill in all parts and sign as indicated.
If you wish to join AVA as an ASSOCIATE Member, please fill in parts A, E, and F, and sign as indicated.
If you wish to become a FRIEND OF AVA, please fill in Parts A, E and F, and sign as indicated.

All Membership runs from 01 April to 31 March each year.

The AVA Committee considers Membership Applications during February, May, September and November. If you have not heard by the end of the appropriate month, please contact Christine Dumont by email or telephone.
