Alan works mainly in watercolour, drawing most of his inspiration from the Kent countryside, where he has lived all his life. Architecture, landscapes and British wildlife dominate his subject matter.
From an early age Alan has continued to paint simply because of the joy and excitement you can achieve, being self taught he also has the belief that everyone has the ability to paint, this has led to a passion to inspire others through lessons, workshops and demonstrations.
Including the UK, commissioned paintings now see his work in Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada and various countries within Europe.
