Using the language of drawing my practice is about the exploration of process.
The choice or properties of the materials that I use, or the actions that I take, highlight my feelings
and thoughts at a particular time, and the process of making becomes as important as the finished
piece.
I have used my own breath to make foam, coloured ice and meteorological conditions to record
time, and wet clay and mud to emboss paper. These artworks become a documentation of a
moment preserved.
Often I like to use the simplicity of charcoal, pen, pencil, or pin mark on paper, as this activity
allows a more personal platform to think. These artworks express the phenomenal nature of being.
