‘I love sketching in the wild, and have painted many portraits to pay for my travels. This has very much fed into my work, and now I find the different elements coming together’.
Vikky was Artist in Residence in Antarctica, and in the Arctic she travels with Inuit hunters and their dog teams.
Her practice includes lectures on Polar Expedition Ships, and talks and demonstrations to Art Groups.
The Artists & Illustrators (A&I) published a 4 page feature on her work, and her paintings have been shown in the Artist, & Leisure Painter magazines.
Three of her paintings are in the public Art collection of Kecskemet, Hungary.
Vikky is a full Member and on Council of the Society of Women Artists (SWA)
